Hi!

Im wondering if i can use a m8 helicoil kit and use the 8.3mm drill and use helicoil inserts without a problem im afraid to hit oil/water passage should i be worried when take out 1mm in diameter alloy from the head?

Did any one else use m8 helicoil kit?

Yes.  I did the full set after some previous mechanic wrecked some of the threads.  Did the intake manifold threads too.  To be fair, the head is rather soft aluminum.
