'85 IP Rack Position Sensor
Anyone have info on its operation? I remember finding a couple good posts somewhere, but can't seem to find them anymore.
It basically makes a magnetic field and the computer measures the current flow through the wires as the field changes.

Basically, you send an AC signal to the center post, and compare the RMS (or peak if you want to be that spiffy) voltage of each inductor output.
One of these days I'll get my OM606 pump on the wagon and fun times will follow
