how much boost on om617 with 6mm pump? - awk - 02-14-2013
Hey i got an om605 6mm elements and going to swap them on my m pump for om617. Hopefully will get 100-115cc. How much boost shoud i run on this one? (I think max 1bar) and 38mm external wastegate will be enough? with a spring adjusted on 0.7 bar

You will ned a good flowing turbo and boost it until it get smokeless
I dont think you can get i smoke free on only 1 bar!

He didn't say anything about what turbo is used or if there is any intercooler.
With an intercooler 1 bar would be plenty, without you would need over 1.5bar to consume the same weight of air.
