Hi,

Serie (original) camshaft: intake lift 8,4 mm
outtake lift 9,0 mm

OM602 IDI carmshaft: intake lift: 9,1 mm
outtake lift: 10,0 mm

It is a quite worn camshaft, maybe it is bigger a bit (some decade mm).

Hi,

You should the axel correct to 20mm or to use some 20mm axel.
Otherwise it is perfect to this aim.

Ahh, okey.
Is the 1.3d and vw 1.6d stock axel 17mm or around there?
And do you bore out the housing to fit the bigger 20mm shaft?

Hi,

You should the axel correct to 20mm or to use some 20mm axel.
Otherwise it is perfect to this aim.
Or the 1.6 Golf D house.

Nice work! I always asked myself why nobody tunes the VE 602 engine, and here I find somebody at last! This engine is pretty much simmilar to 2.5 tdi AEL, 140 hp from VW. They upgrade the nozzles, turbo,IC and software and there they are 300hp and 600 nm! Why can't be done the same thing with the 602 engine, as it is even bigger? With a 12mm pump head even 400+ hp powers should be reachable! What do u think offroaddiesel, as u're the 602 VE expert on this forum? Tongue

Hi,

I think there isn't any nozzle to fitting it. Sotherefore I would make easier 400+ hp from 1.9 TDI.
From ths engine I would propose 320-350 Hp. (I'm making this)
