are there large brakes for the w126?

For pre-1986 models yes. Post-86 brakes are larger and require 15" wheels.
Rears are identical.
For post-86 models, the only option is aftermarket.

Are you sure about that? I am pretty sure that the later models share the same arm with the later SL.

If that were the case they would fit on a W123 as well.
