Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-10-2011 I offer short run and one-off machining services, CAD services, electronics prototyping, design, and fabrication services, as well as general consulting in the electrical and mechanical fields. Some examples of past jobs are
I now have the ability to do custom digital gauge sets for things like boost and EGT, oil temp, water temp, fuel pressure, and the like. The display can either be a re-purpose of an existing gauge, a character LCD display, a 7 segment display, or even a simple bar graph. As for senders, I can adapt around most any OEM unit, or devise a custom solution to fit the need at hand, including adapter fittings/interconnect work if needed. My rates are on a per-job quoted basis, and turnaround time is job dependent. It is best to contact me via email or PM, email preferred. Walt Zarnochwf1@ABCPrototyping.com RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - winmutt - 02-14-2011 I need a SMC ship mounted on a shield board for the arduino, is this something you can do? RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-14-2011 Get me a datasheet, and I'll see what I can do. I can reflow most leaded packages, but I'm just getting the hang of BGA. Is it a pre-made shield with a footprint, or would I have to get one made? To the oil filter plate guys. I've got the basic design finished, still have to get a stock quote. winmutt, think we can split all the oil filter relocation posts into another thread for clarity? I can reflow most leaded packages, but I'm just getting the hang of BGA. This is the daughter board I made. I have to get my hands on that SMC to get model number and data sheet. RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - stan - 02-15-2011 (02-14-2011, 01:37 PM)winmutt I need a SMC ship mounted on a shield board for the arduino, is this something you can do? if 300D50 can't do it, shoot me a PM. i'll show you some <.5mm pitch tssops i just did the other day RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-15-2011 I've got a reflow oven, I'm just not that good at BGA yet. I can also hand solder tssop, chiped a few PS2's with Kynar wire as well. :p RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - Captain America - 02-16-2011 I reflowed my sisters laptop in the oven the other day! 300 Can you finish a design of a VU meter using 2 LM3916's for each channel. There are two cascaded for each channel. I had an electrical engineer start the project and has dropped the ball on me... http://www.national.com/mpf/LM/LM3916.html#Overview RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-16-2011 Hehe, oven reflow.... what temp ya have it at? :p Shoot me a PM with more info, looks to be very easily done. RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - Captain America - 02-17-2011 8 min @ 385 Degrees IIRC RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - winmutt - 02-23-2011 EGR block off plates? RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-23-2011 Easily doable, just need to find my EGR valve. RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - winmutt - 02-23-2011 Probably worth doing a run of 10 if its cheaper. I am sure others here an on the other boards would be interested. I dont think Brian Carlton is selling his anymore. RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-23-2011 I could likely do a batch, 1/4 or 3/16 plate is all that's needed for the intake side, the exhaust side is the tricky part, but I can get it to behave. RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - winmutt - 02-25-2011 I have no need for the exhaust side. What has been done in the past is to take a simple piece of sheet metal and drive it over the pipe with a slightly larger id pipe and then use the stock clamp. RE: Electrical/mechanical prototyping, short run manufacturing services. - 300D50 - 02-25-2011 That makes my job that much easier! I'll start in on that once this plate run is finished. |
