240d center motor mount? - willbhere4u - 05-30-2011
So when I was pulling the engine yesterday I removed the shock and the motor mount bolts only to find that the engine still would not come out
I crawled back under to find another engine mount in the center of the oil pan to the cross member dose any one know where to get a new one?
I plan on replacing all of the motor mounts while in here!

I replaced mine about 6 months ago, didnt have any luck finding one aftermarket. I just got it from the dealership.

Mine looks different than that it bolted to the oil pan with 2 bolts but fit over a 1" flat tang on the front of the cross member?

Then it could be a dealer item as MB Tech noted.

These mounts never worked very well ,if at all,many times more vibrations were caused by the mounts. Mbz issued a bulletin on how to adj. trying to rid engine of vibrations caused by mount.
