I'm looking for the Diesel injection pump timing gear locking basket for the OM60# series engines.
Part: 601-589-05-14-00
Or some substitute for this tool.

Or for that matter shouldn't it be similar to locking a cam sprocket when you remove a head?

In case you don't know, early engines came with these installed. I picked one up in a junkyard a while back very cheap. I could probably get the job done without this tool especially if I had a helper and maybe a wire coat hanger.
