Looking for the best turbo for 300hp om606.962, ive read that hx35 is good choice but havnt really seen a solid answer.

HX35 is bit laggy for 300hp target. HY35 has smaller turbine housing and should be more comfortable to drive than with HX35.

In the 606, the HX35 WG with dual scroll #12 turbine housing works great. As mentioned above is a bit laggy , but that will happen with any turbo of the same size Compressor and turbine(core inertia). This was based on a mod i made, pump is a 7.5 150cc, engine gave 320HP at whells.
In my opinion the HX is a cheap solution, and for the 606 the #10/11 turbine housing would be perfect, the compressor swapped by a billet wheel, (those mamba or kinugawa etc) slightly bigguer so that the housing has to be machined to mach perfectly.
BUT IF budget is not a problema go for KKK EFR or GTX series, or a pair one in each 3 cylinders...
