ML270CDI 722.661 into W124 - BobbyBreeze - 08-29-2017 Anyone know if the ML trans can be used in RWD application (w124) easily? I have seen pictures of the transfer case removed but I am not sure if the driveshaft yoke can be easily attached to the output shaft? The ML270CDI 722.661 is the easiest strong box I can find locally, there are no C270 CDI's around and all the v8 transmissions are much more expensive.  Thanks RE: ML270CDI 722.661 into W124 - ross - 08-31-2017 The rear output 'cup' is held on with the same arrangement the flex disk mount uses as far as I could tell on mine.
