I need to remove my lift pump. I cant for the life of me figure what exactly it is thats keeping it in there. Any general directions?

Its the last piece holding me up on the final tear down of my short block...

what have you all removed so far?

1979 450SEL 6.9 - stock

1960 220SE
111 tube chassis car/undergoing full restoration. Body work in progress. Merging with a 1996 S500 (119 engine, 722.6 trans, and both subframes)

2005 S55 AMG - stock

1999 SLK230 Kompressor - stock

2006 SLK55 AMG - stock

111 tube chassis car/undergoing full restoration. Body work in progress. Merging with a 1996 S500 (119 engine, 722.6 trans, and both subframes)

Lift pump is held on by 2 fuel lines and 3 10mm bolts.

K I'm on crack. Meant to say the part of the injection pump that ties into the timing chain.

Everything else is off the motor minus the chain and the rotating assembly.

The timer? Remove the vacuum pump, remove the chain retaining pin on block, lift the chain off of the timer's sprocket and it should slide right out.

So yes I overlooked this... It came out with a little fanageling.

So I lied theres still some of the pins from the chain guides in there. They've got this SBC boy a little stumped lol. They appear the only way to take them out would be to screw a bolt into them and use a slide hammer?
