Installing Engine

Cold Air Intake
This is my first Benz..... Engine. One of my mechanics had this engine sitting around. Thought it might be neat to build a diesel S-10. Lots of custom work but it fit very well and everything worked just right. (except overdrive and a missing vacume switch off the valve cover) Also no tach signal.... drives amaizing and incredible on fuel. More to come as I tune and upgrade it. Running a Ford 8.8 with 3.55 gears limited slip, rear sway bar and disc brakes lowered 5"front 3" rear. Dual batteries in the box.

Yea thats the heater core return pipe. For a diesel it really cranks out some good heat in the cab. Was kinda wondering how the winter would be here !

Thats my positive junction terminal (out of a Chrysler Intrepid) . I put the batteries in the box to try and move some weight to the back.

I was going to do that with my truck as well, makes people freak when they can't figure out what it is! :p

Looks awesome, any issues with the added weight up front?

Can definatly feel the weight up front but drives very nice. Il be upgradeing to front slotted rotors and ceramic pads next to handle the extra weight during hard breaking. I added rear disc brakes witch makes a big differance.
