CDI injectors
CDI injectors
Anyone know if the newer piezo's from an OM642 (V6CDI) would mechanicly fit into an OM648 (6 inline)
I know it will not be plug & play but I need more fuel
thanks
They would probably fit but the cdi module will not run them. Piezo and solenoid injectors drive really differently. You can get larger injectors from bosch directly. Bosch motorsports. You will have to find a dealer in your area. They are hard to deal with for sure. Mostly racing teams.
@ Majesty78, expensive, hard to find & still to small
@ Whipplem104 , I also think they fit, We are running a standalone computer that can handle piezo and they are very big & easy to find from crashed cars

Above mentioned C30CDI AMG injectors plus pump from E400CDI and rail pressure sensor is fine for 400hp....
You can get your current injectors rebuilt to the 7hole AMG nozzle tips and specs, should not be to costy...

Just curious, which standalone system are you using? I have been looking at Bosch and a few of the others.
