speedo wobble?

My speedo wobbles like crazy sometimes, I think its because whatever lubrication is in the cable wears out over time and then it binds for a second until it builds enough force to rotate again, then repeats the whole cycle really fast lol. That's just my guess though
Never thought of it that way. So could i just spray lubricant down the cable? I always figured iy had something to do with maybe a spring or something inside thr actuale guage
I was told these cables are sealed on the end, so I'm not sure if they can be lubricated very effectively or not, but its worth a try!! I think some really light oil or even graphite would work best

I still think it would be easier to just try lubricating it or something first
^^^Either that or a graphite powder lube
