OM602 DE2.9LA V-electronic to V-mech. Pump Swap
I guess there is no turning back now!
Oops sorry: I got my pump nomenclature wrong!
I feel that I now have all the necessary info about turning this motor strictly mechanical (with the help from my local Bosch "pump shop").
I'll post up a few more photos in the next few days.
Yup--Be difficult to go back now!
The best of luck, let us know how it turns out, with some details of what was done/parts used in the pump modifications!
Here is a picture of the electronic "V" pump is a VE5/11 E 1900 R831 or 0460 415 922.
The hybrid replacement pump will be VE5/12 F 1900 Rxxx or 0 460 425 xxx.
larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?
Ah don't put things on the granite block!!!!
That's a purdy calibration bench!

Well, the new pump is ready to be mounted up to the motor!
And then it is time to strip the essential wires.
