(08-29-2013, 06:45 AM)Ksteen2 if you have 10mm all around, its a 20mm space, and a 4" os 25.4mm bigger, si if you hammer it little bit it should fit Wink

This is true, however the concern I have is heat. On RHD cars the DP runs next to the steering box ( very close) and I'm concerned about cooking the fluid and seals!
I will have the DP ceramic coated, and will make a fancy shield for the steering box.

I might be able to make a larger DP later on once the project is actually running!

W124 om606 HX40 finished and it's a beauty 450bhp/456ft-lbs

This is on a 14.0L Detroit engine running a 8.3L supercharger turning 4.31 over crank speed. The only thing I can find is they are running massive dual blow off valves between the supercharger and turbo.
How that works? I'm not quite sure... Huh

That is some fucking MFP Madmax 1 shit going on there.
Possibly the first time i have seen an advantage of having a RHD car on STD - so you can see past a massive S/C!
Brilliant.

PS make sure you brace the inlet manifold to the engine - a lot of tension on those top inlet/head bolts.

Not sure on that yet Wayne, probably 1.6:1 or something like that. I don't want the eaton to make too much boost and hence heat, it is mainly there for off the line torque.

have belt tensioner brackets supporting the manifold at the front so maybe a bracket at the back should do.

It's beautiful!

For the extra air inlet valve, can you get a throttle body from a gas car and use that with a strong actuator?

Cheers Erling,
hopefully be finished for the summer.

decided to remove front panels and wheel tubs and replace with tube, make some space and add some strength.
drivers wheel tub was wrinkled from previous accident anyway, so i have more wheel room for that extra steering angle.
