What kind of throttle set up is this?
Is anyone familiar with this set up and have suggestions on getting it t work with an engine/throttle set up from a 300SD?
I'm currently working on putting a OM617 turbo into a '79 300CD. The throttle set up is completely different from any other one I have seen.

You need that bearing/bracket thingy on the firewall to change for the later style, can grab it at a pick'n'pull maybe. Needs welding/riveting/screwing to the firewall.

Don't know if the US market ever got those cars...!?

12-11-2014, 01:08 PM #7Well if you have in mind the old engines that went with this linkage - carburettor & vacuume-controlled IP; it does make sense to run it that way. But with the directly controlled key-start OM617 - it is sort of retarded to run it across the whole engine
