Hello,

use the speed sensor from the diff with a speedohealer V4. I got issues with the signal of the sensor and solved it by converting the sensor signal to a square signal with a lm1815. It works great now. With the speedohealer you can adjust vour tach signal from -99.9% to 9999,9%.

Hi firen,

could you give more information of how to connect the lm 1815. I have a speedo healer v4 in connection with a german device the converts a wave signal into a square signal. Deppending strongly on the the temperature (the colder, the better it works …) the speedo (w126) falls back to zero at max 170 km/h …

I think the signal converter I have does not wotk right.

Should be 4 wires. +, ground signal-in and signal out … right?

Please help me out,

how do I connect the lm1815?

cheers from munich

I know that problem. The speedometer is built to work with an inductive sensor, square signal input doesnt work above a certain frequency.

Hi,

in the LM1815's datasheet there is a circuit explained which works well.
There's a german whatsapp group i want you to join Smile   Just PM me...

Measse Smile oiwei wieder gern...

In the attached pictures you can see where to take and how to modify the signals. Dont't ask me where you can find which wire exactly. I Don't know. The ABS-Sensor is plugged under the rear seats and the ABS control unit can be found behind the Battery in W124.

There are several threads on this. please use the search function.

If you want to use a hall-effect sensor then use the v4.
For information use:
https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/sh/

If you MUST use an inductive sensor (diff/abs) then you need the special SH-V4-2W version.
