Bosch? Bosio? Monark?
Bosch? Bosio? Monark?
I'm totally confused regarding what kind of nozzle to by for my om605. Some says indian Bosch is trash, some says it's OK. Some says Monark is a good alternative, but I've heard quality complaints of that also.
Could someone light my mind what would be the best nozzle?
om605 engine
mechanical pump with 7,5 elements 85-90 ccm adjusted quantity
OM606 turbo
135 bars or 150bars opening pressure?
Bosch are no longer made in Germany. If you can find NOS, then get them. They are Ebay Gold right now. They used to be made in France then India. You will probably be hitting 20% fail rate out of the tube. Plus, it appears Bosch is made in China which have even higher fail rates plus all the forgeries out there. BEWARE of the $5 or $10 Bosch nozzle. That's made in China junk. You can buy Chinese made nozzles for under a $1.00 so there's that.
Monark is the only German made nozzle left. They merged with DES a few years ago.
Bosio is made in Italy.

My local diesel workshop recommended DTP nozzles http://www.dtp-motorteile.de/ I use them and they seem to work fine.
They also said that Bosch is not worth the price but now Bosch seems to be cheaper than few years ago.
You won't/can't go wrong with Monark. German made - German quality.
Never heard of DTP ... learn something new everyday !

I put Monarks in my OM617, and waiting on a set to arrive for my 603. They work great
I got my latest injectors set up with Henzo nozzles. They are from www.dieselsend.de. I can only recommend the work this shop does.
Setting up 6 injectors with return line and new washers was only 186€. And the injecctors are running great.
(01-26-2017, 05:21 PM)Tobulus I also recommend Henzo Nozzles. I set up about 40 of them over the years and not a single one failed on WVO.
The best ones you can get still are the Bosch Nozzles. Spray pattern and durability are better than at the other nozzles from what I have seen.

(01-27-2017, 07:50 AM)barrote Ok i see, but be aware that as long as the spray patern is good and they do not leak, they will behave as new tips. After cleaning and tunning ofcourse. This is true for IDI injectors.
