Bushing erodes the shaft and it has play on it after that. Roller bearing won't.

I'm still trying to understand the need for this. Our two OM606A's are at 260K and 290K miles and there is no play in that shaft. Just how many miles are on these engines you are working on?

My experience regarding solutions on limited turning/ pulsating on a shaft, that bushings wear out fast and erode the shaft. Roller bearings are much more stiff.
We will see how this will operate, actually 500kms in it without problem.
