I've already mounted the sensor and ran the cable to the amp port and mounted the gauge in the cluster I need to hook up from the ?amp? to the tach

04-09-2012, 01:32 PM #1I picked up a tachometer off a 1985 300d turbo California model it had the normal crank balance pick up sensor but the amplifier is smaller and has nothing under the cap???? I also garbed the tach what do i need to do to hook it up???

04-09-2012, 02:44 PM #2looks like the 1985 tach used a different sensor in the trans! But the crank sensor and amp base should still work! looks like I will need to find a tach amp now
