should I buy a 722.632?
should I buy a 722.632?
So there is a CLK430 coming into my local junkyard. It's going to be in the premium lot, so the price of the transmission is going to be double the normal price ($117 is normal). I also have a 10% off coupon so I can get it for $220 (core charge)
Should I jump on it and hold onto it for my 606 project and hopefully someone will sell a microcontroller for it soon? or should I not get it.
what else will I need with the transmission, torque converter? Shifter assembly??
$220 is definitely still a good price, assuming its good. The microcontroller already exists btw, it's pricey though.
Definitely grab the torque converter. The shifter module, seems like most of its electronics would be replaced by a controller so I'm not sure how useful it'd be.

I'm totally game to go get one tomorrow. Just found out the 2000 C230 has the 722.6. I sure hope the c230 sitting there has the transmission and is in good shape. Plus it's normal price, $117 for the transmission and torque converter. Plus I have a 10% off coupon. Win!
