Parting Out: 1982 300D Turbo
Parting Out: 1982 300D Turbo
Engine runs, trans shifts fine, most of the electrics work. Was rolled, so the sun roof and driver's front door is wasted. Relatively rust free, there's a little in the floor. The brakes don't work at all, not sure why. Post in thread with questions.
I'll be using the price list from my local Pic-a-Part, found here: http://www.rustyspic-a-part.com/index.php/pricing
Local pick up in Asheville, NC or I will ship USPS.
Sold:
Monovalve coil.
Cowl trim.
Center console wood.
Window switches.
Ignition barrel and keys.
Blower motor.
Dash pad.
I have badly been wanting a rear bumpstop. The little rubber bit that is the end of the line when the shocks/springs are compressed all the way.
Don't rush to it but if you happen to tear that far in keep it in mind.
lol cho. You want the US stuff and we want the European.
(03-27-2013, 04:58 AM)cho how about MW IP and turbo? any good?

I just shipped a Holset to Norway, It was $120 for just the shipping.
How about $50 for the IP? Price list says 65 for turbos. The seals seem fine in the turbo, it's a T3.

larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?
It should fit in a flat rate, they just raised their rates though-It's somewhere around 45 for international.
If you pull the oil filter assembly I want it but it's going to be a couple weeks before I can spare the moolah

50$ is ok if the MW IP is proven good and no leaks on it
it shoud fit in large flat rate box ...no?

(03-27-2013, 10:36 AM)Everybodyghost Looks like it'll fit. There's some oil/grime on it, but I can't tell if it's just the leaking valve cover or not.

What do you want for the oil filter housing and bolts? Would you hold it for a small deposit?

If you take the arm off the steering box it will fit into a flat rate ($15?) box.
A closeup photo of the top of the box near the allen screw will tell him all he needs to know.

(04-05-2013, 11:47 AM)martureo Hahah... all three of those questions were concerning the steering box.
If you get ready to crush the car I'll buy the box from you. It costs $35 to have UPS pack and ship it. (It's 30lbs)
I rebuild steering boxes and I'm always looking for good cores. I'd rather not take them out the of the junkyard if I don't have to.
