the stock clutch was there for money reason. Will deffinitly be making something good during the next few months with clutch and flywheel set up.
The stock manifold is completely junk unless you get your hands on a euro manifold but still you have to do modifications to the stock flange. I will try tk replicate the kkd manifold as best as i can to accomidate the hx.
Well the motor is completely stock at the moment so if the testing needs it to be for jdle qhality and idle return. The car is sitting the the garage ready to go.
Making the manifold is not a problem have built numerious manifolds before, deffinitely not the first time.

So how is are the pumps coming along, is this still at a stand still?
Where are these parts available from? I have a 1985 300sd want to give a little more power too. Plus how well does his engine survive these kind of settings or modifications???
There is a Bosch Injection Pump shop here in the Palm Beaches that will install any elements you have and "rebuild" the pump quickly- it's all they do, and it's not side jobs. I have no idea what Derv Tuning is charging, but a pump rebuild is at least $1300. If someone is seriously interested drop me a PM. I will assist in making sure the pump arrives and work is getting done and the pump finished and sent out for little compensation.

The goal is to have a perfectly setup pump, with optimal delivery and response characteristics. This ensures that once the customer gets the pump, it is simply a plug and play situation. All fun, and no problems!
Therefore, I installed the super pump onto the engine in the 85 w123 that is running an authentic Garrett, basically full T4 turbo (compressor and turbine wheels, with a t3 inlet on the turbine housing), a 3" diameter downpipe, and water injection, for an evaluation of idle response, as well as other key parameters for performance. This is in the case that something needs attention, the pump can be fitted back to the bench for adjustments before being shipped out.
The results are in; the engine has never idled so well! Totally smooth, and driving at low speeds, the tip in response was excellent, with no issues with surging or other strange effects. Immediately, the effect of more fuel delivery, as well as faster delivery was observed, whilst driving a usual route.
Subsequently, merging onto the freeway, a wholly different beast was unleashed under the hood, with power like never before. Before I knew it, I was just over the speed I normally would drive at, just an ultra smooth flow of power coupled with fine sounds as the turbo responded. Very, very impressive! After a quick systems check, and a clear space in front of me, the transmission was placed into 3rd @ 65mph, yielding near 4K rpms and the throttle depressed; instantly, the boost shot up to ~30psi, as well as the EGTs which stabilized as the boost kicked in, and then wheelspin occurred! Incredible! This is not a small turbo either, but I've never seen it respond so well compared to other platforms I've tried the same turbo in (gas engines).
It should be noted that prior to the super pump install, with the stock MW adjusted to it's maximum, I was getting ~10 psi max.
I will be able to resume testing later in the day, and if everything goes as well as it has, the super pump will be shipped out straightaway!

Wow the numbers are getting better and better.
My concern with a shop other than Derv, is that the tuning of the pump will not be on part. I had a shop quote me $550 a long time ago for rebuilding my 603 pump with th 7.5 Floyds. Nothing was mentioned, however, of tuning issues with larger elements. There must be something to it, otherwise any rebuild shop could do it right?
Ok let me rephrase this where can I purchase or order the M75 Floyd or 7.5 Floyds? assume this is only for the pump rework and not the injectors also??? What turbo are they using or is this with the stock assembly?? needs to spool up much faster and how much boost will this engine handle withour being hurt???
Contact tomnik on this forum, last I knew he was currently out of them but was ordering more. Yes its only the pump rebuild, the injectors are not a restriction. You can use the stock turbo, but you should upgrade to a bigger one with all the fuel these provide. I've heard mention of people going as high as the mid 40s with boost, but consider around 30psi to be a safe maximum. Read everything you can theres a massive amount of information out there as I found out myself

I have about 40 pieces of Floyd M75 left.
But I got a bit conservative due to the development with Derv.
I also made some experience with my own pump that it is not just swapping elements and adjusting something.
Also some shops jump on the job without knowing what to do.
The result is that nobody is happy at the end of the day.
Top of the story is that pumps and elements "get lost" !
Russel: the SD comes with a MW pump. Either you need MW elements or you go for a 5 cyl. M pump.
For the second option I recommend to use a turbo governor on this originally N/A pump to avoid external ALDA and black smoke.
The custom MW elements are 6.5mm "Holly".
There is one set of 5 already in the US because a shop in Texas refused to install them for some reason (for details send a pm).

I assume the Monark 314 nozzles are for the injectors? The turbo stuff is easy and the 6.5s ging to try here locally
Yeah, the 314 nozzles are for the injectors. I put the Monark 265 in my car and in my brothers car (c12h23). The 265's worked like a champ in both cars. His injectors were pretty shot, and mine were just to upgrade. c12h23 is still rocking the 265's, I upgraded to the 314's in search of more power. Didn't seem to do much, but I still have the stock maxed out pump for now. My theory is, they will allow more fuel per injection stroke vs the stock or even 265 nozzles.
Ok now now another question since I live in South Texas where can I purchase these parts? The 6.5 elemants and the 314 nozzles? the exhaust is already done and looking at a T3 turbo upgrade those are easily aquired here. The other parts knowone has heard of around here is there a website to order from?

I have used the Monark 265 with good success. Currently running Monark 314 nozzles, also with good success. I've purchased 3 sets from MercedesSource with no problems. I'm hoping the 314's help get more fuel injected when the 6.5 elements are done. I hadn't heard of Hessian Imports, so I have nothing to report on them. MS is just a few hours up the road from me, so shipping was super quick and cheap.

I wouldn't expect any more fuel to be delivered by the 314 nozzles. The pintle is slightly smaller diameter (5mm instead of 6mm, or something like that) and the facet depth is reduced, but that's about it. MB says it improves idle quality (see below). I'm running the 314's in my car too but didn't notice any real difference compared to the 265's.
Thats good info gsxr, thanks! I didn't feel any difference from 265 to 314 either. I put the 314's in with the hopes that they will inject just a touch more fuel per stroke than the 265's when my 6.5mm pump is done. I still have my spare set of injectors with the 265's in them. If I have the spare time and money when the pump is done, I may talk to the dyno shop I use about doing a back to back test with the 265 vs 314 nozzles.
