7,5 mm Element design for high performance engine
(08-14-2012, 05:28 AM)dieselmerc I guess it's like the 8mm mynä, it very very sensitive on the throttle, almost a bit anoying sensitive

A small teaser, another clip will bee made soon. This 603 only have 1,5 bar of boost and 160cc of fuel, max rpm 5000 full load. Inlet mainfold was cracked, so we had some boost leak there.
If the clip dont work, check out my facebook in my signature.
I'm putting money away for an m-pump, hopefully by spring time I will have enough for one, and for a set of elements!
Any idea how much horsepower a 617 could get from one of these pumps, with big turbo and I/C of course?
Here is 140cc series 1 elements in action

It's right around 550nm (405 ft-lbs) to the tire.

Hi,
Yes this is my first dyno with this engine and I am pleased because I have not any performance camshafts and running stock prechambers. I will post some dynocharts soon!
That beeing said, this is the specs of the todays engine regards performance not strength:
Positiv:
-Ported head
-God flowing and tuned exhaust manifold
-Good turbo match (Still china turbo, but I have machined antisurge), surged before at 2 bars at low rpm, now it does 2.6 bars without any problem!
- 3" straight pipe exhaust with no muffler
- Eaton M90 with small nosewheel, does around 0.9bar at 2500rpm.
- Strong valvesprings
Negativ:
- valve between compressor/turbo opens a bit to late, so a pressure drop is seen in dynochart (This is easy to fix, but don`t had the time before dyno day)
Dieselmeken aka "The boss" is willing to rebuild my pump with series 2 180cc elements, and then I will dyno again!
This time with just pump upgrade, then with rebored prechambers, then with camshaft
Stay tuned guys

You need to divide the nm on the hub on total gear ratio to the engine, in this case divide it by 3,07 we dynoed in fitft gear (1:1) and final gear (3,07)

Hopfully I can find some nice people down there that can help me to keep on developing my elements & valves
7,5mm for MW would bee nice to have in the program.
Also, there is some people that I have booked time with to sit down and talk about testequippment for CRI pumps. ( Injectors is no problem, that I do already), they are quite impressed of what you guys can do with the Mercedes engines & some small help from me, Your videoclip is all over the world now
There is a lot on the wish list for this X-mas.......

(09-10-2012, 06:21 AM)EDH_Performance Hi,You burn all fuel and power is that small on six. Need better Injection pump. What sound strange because here is dyno 603 on mynä 7mm at 530hp. So 140cc should be good enough at 500?

So, now I have done some 7,5mm 180cc pumps that works good. The big test will be next week when I go down to Cyprus to change a 140cc pump to this 180cc with outside ALDA as I showed in another topic.
The 180cc without ALDA chokes the engine at full throttle, if you rew it up careful and wait for boost, it goes like hell according to my customers.
I shall try to make a nice filmclip of it and share to you all on STD.
Now i know why i only dynoed 356whp, and that is quite easy to understand
The problem is that i am running a small efi petrol pump and stock fuel line
So i think i have found the weak link in the chain! Upgrade is coming soon, and then i will dyno again
And now that i am aware of the starvation problem, i can really feel that it dont get all the fuel that it need above at high rpm...
That is really nice at you found the problem on your car
I like persons who tink themselves

So, back from Cyprus, did put the 180cc pump in, fired it up and it runs almost like a stock pump on low idle.
Nice sound and really quick in the uprewing.
Didnt drive it, Today Saturday is raceday, I went home Friday, waiting for result.

I have a 2nd gen Dodge with a Cummins, now, VP44s will burn out from not enough fuel to cool them because of the computer on them. There are great lift pumps that have pre & post filtering & water separating. Got to use 1/2" fuel lines to get the most flow (12.5MM?). There are also some good belt driven pumps that are good for daily driving & 900+HP woth stupid torque...

Dieselmeken
is there a specification available on the turbo exact witch one it is.
at pressure rate a 3,8 it is really on the limit and I do wonder how the GTX3582R is going to like it
what is the air flow?
Is there some where you can read of how this engine is done?

what inducer and exducer did that turbo have? sounded like a lot of power for such a small turbo?

You could say there is hell after the turbo
At that pressure rate you could say it spinning like... do wander how long it will last at that speed...
